The reason its stupid is because haveing mages capping over 20 bps of manas and sds to a fight is just lame...

The max cap is amazing. It allows anyone to carry as much Runes/pots as they can AFFORD rather than what they can just carry. Also its great for hunting because you are not just constantly running back to DP to drop off loot... instead you are just lvling. This allows for MAX time actually playing, rather than just standing in a building depositing loot or buying BPs... The current cap situation is perfect.
